Air Freight Consolidation (LCAF)
Air freight groupage at forwarders is managed manually: staff use spreadsheets to track which customers' cargo has been received at the warehouse, handwrite HAWB numbers for each consignee, and phone the airline to register the consolidated MAWB after physically grouping all cargo. When the master shipment arrives at the destination, deconsolidating into individual house shipments and sending arrival notices to each consignee is done one email at a time with no system tracking. This module brings the air consolidation (LCAF) workflow into the same house/master framework as sea LCL: house air shipments are consolidated into a master MAWB shipment, cargo receipt at the warehouse is stamped, the master's MAWB propagates to all linked houses, and on import the deconsolidation wizard creates house shipments per consignee with automatic arrival notice dispatch.
