What does OmniApproval™ - Sales & Projects not do?
It is a bridge, not an app. The requests, the routes and the approvers come from the approval engine. It does not plan projects. Tasks, stages and timesheets stay the project app's. Mappings are configuration. Which request field corresponds to which project field is a decision you make once. It needs both sides installed. Sales approvals and the project app - it connects what exists.
Who is OmniApproval™ - Sales & Projects for?
Project manager: Raises an approval with the project on it. Sales: Sees the decision that unblocked delivery. Administrator: Maintains one mapping instead of two configurations. Finance: Follows the approval from the order to the work.
Which Odoo version and editions does it support?
Odoo 17.0 - Odoo Community, Odoo Enterprise, Viindoo Cloud. Upgrades to a newer Odoo series are a separate purchase for that series.
What does it depend on?
It installs on top of: sale_project, viin_approval_sale, viin_approval_project. Odoo installs them with it.
How do I set it up?
